Digital graphics level 3
The aim of this course is to equip students with advanced skills in graphic design. Students will use the latest industry standard hardware and software to create professional graphics.
Using Intel Core Duo P.C and Photoshop, students will learn professional techniques to prepare and design graphics. You will use and combine a variety of graphic tools to produce graphic art, animation, logo/titles design, print and web based media.
Students will undertake a Real world project, being responsible for seeing a typical client brief through all development stages, from pre-planning, designing, refining, and testing to completion.
The course will develop a range of practical skills as well as critical and visual awareness and an appreciation of the role of graphic design in society.
The course comprises practical work and a reflective blog/ work journal which shows the students’ communication of ideas and the reflective journey.
